When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.
And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.
2 Samuel 22:2
He said, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,"
I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,
I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame."

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.
You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah
