Most important new technology?

What new technology do you think is most important for GotQuestions.org to expand its ministry into? We receive many suggestions, such as: (1)  allowing questions through text (SMS) messaging and or through Twitter, (2) developing an app for iPhone (and other mobile phone) users, and (3) producing video versi0ns of our answers. What do you think?

well this isnt a “new” technology per se but what about television? Perhaps a short show where one of your question answerers discusses common biblical questions and the answers.

Podcasts are a great way to share information. A weekly question/answer would be nice.

No new delivery and acceptance system is bad or good. What does matter very much is how much of a load can you handle and do you
have access to additional help to deliver it? I can not see the
big value of cel. phones it people have a computer to use, if they’
do not have acces to a computer than a cel. phone or twitter seems
    of value. Hank

I like the podcast idea! :)

I would say the suggestion about questions being sent through text messaging is a logical development to consider.

I think that making an app for the iPhone would be very, very great! I would download it without hesitation!

Technology is a tool, used properly a very useful to help in life and spreading the Gospel. But it also can be used for sinful uses as well. A person can reject technology they are often, to use a metaphor, “throwing the baby out with the bath water.”
Like anything in life, we must put on full armor of Christ, as said in Eph. the six chapter. Satin can throw fiery darts though the internet, tv, radio and even walking or driving down the street,(billboards, magazine covers etc).
We can use technology but it requires responsibility and focus to what will glorify God.

I think MS PowerPoint presentations are an excellent way of communicating answers. You can include images also (a picture speaks thousand words than a thousand words itself).

I use http://www.slideshare.net to upload my Presentations and then embed them in my blog posts…

    Like the one given here

  10. Comment by Anon,

Why not just ask our Dad?
besides we’re human and he (technically is but perfect) knows everything about finances….so…(of course he might put the answer in one of our heads as if it was our idea so..)

Infact,Ignore what I said up there, I dont know you guys decide…

New technology is only a means to satisfy the flesh…it does nothing for spiritual birth and Grace.
