Want to impact the Kingdom through GotQuestions.org?We are excited to partner with you and your missionary. If you are interested in GotQuestions.org’s Acts 1:8 Project, please email us at email@example.com.
Churches, would you like to promote the Gospel and sound biblical teaching throughout the world via the internet while expanding the outreach of your missionaries at the same time? If so, GotQuestions.org would like to introduce you to our Acts 1:8 Project.
We have over 18,000 web pages translated into 149 different languages, so GotQuestions.org is already having a tremendous global impact. Currently, a little more than half of our 4.5 million monthly visitors come from outside the United States. Even more exciting, we are averaging over 10,000 professions of faith per month from our translated pages. Wouldn’t it be great to see even more growth?
Some of our language sections, such as Spanish and Portuguese, have 700+ translated articles, but many other areas have 10 or fewer. We would love to see all of our language sections with at least 200 pages of content. The potential impact would be phenomenal. Can you imagine how many lives could be changed?
One more way your church can change the world.
This is where you come in. If you support a missionary in a foreign country, then the Acts 1:8 Project is for you. Imagine dozens of people contacting your missionary each month, requesting discipleship, information on a local church, or spiritual guidance.
Here’s your opportunity to fund the translation of our online content into a specific language—preferably the language of a country where you already have a missionary. Your support will advance the Gospel in the language of your choice. We would find a quality translator, oversee the translation work, and publish the translated articles to our website. When your church funds the translation of our online content into a specific language—preferably the language of a country where you already have a missionary—your support will advance the Gospel in that region.
Here’s how it works.
We would find a quality translator, oversee the translation work, and publish the translated articles to our website. Then, on the follow-up page for that language, we will direct anyone seeking further information to your missionary. As an example, let’s say you support a missionary to Thailand, and you want to augment the preaching of the Word in that country. (Our Thai website receives around 16,000 page views and averages around 90 professions of faith in Christ each month.) We would find a reliable Thai translator and inform your church of how much it would cost to translate a certain number of new articles into the Thai language. Your church would then raise the funds for the translation. As the Thai translator completes the new translations, we would publish them to our Thai website. On our Thai “Profession of Faith” page, we would include whatever contact information your missionary prefers. Any Thai who reads the Gospel and makes a profession of faith will have the opportunity to contact your missionary.
